Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Jeff has been surrounded by the health and wellness industry his entire life. His father (Jeff Sr), Godfather (Doug), and Grandfather (Sam) started Douglas Laboratories in the early 1980s and ran the company until selling to Nestle in 2008. From an early age, Jeff resonated highly with nutritional supplements and developed a passion for performance, holistic health, and alternative medicine. After graduating from Miami University in 2016, Jeff declined a job opportunity with his Uncle’s new supplement company and instead moved to New York City to work for a International Freight business, Flexport, noting his desire to gain unbiased, real world business experience. After 3.5 years of climbing the corporate ladder, moving over 600 40’ high containers from across the world to customers warehouses, building a book of business of over 30 clients from scratch, and becoming the #2 Salesperson in the NYC office, Jeff was on the verge of burnout and had a calling in a dream to visit the Amazon Rainforest and work with one of the oldest plant medicines in existence, Ayahuasca. After 10 days, 4 ceremonies in the river town of Iquitos, and a month of integration back in the concrete Jungle, Jeff  realized that being a cog in the machine was impacting his health & well being and that he was not living his purpose or working in the industry that felt right to his heart. He took a leap of faith, quit his job, left NYC, and spent the next year traveling, integrating, reading, and reflecting. In August of 2020, he read The Carnivore Code by Paul Saladino, which ultimately made "the lightbulb go off”. He spent the next year getting as close to the source as possible, experimenting with the diet, connecting with ranchers and farmers, learned how to hunt and process animals and moved to the Big Island of Hawaii to master his craft. Eventually, yet again, he realized that he was not living his true purpose- helping others heal their bodies, and realized that after 7 years of experimentation with the Oligocsan, that he had transformed his own health in terms of Mineral Deficiency and Metal Toxicity. He moved back to Austin Texas and joined his father at the Oligoscan to help bring the technology to new clinics worldwide and help practitioners understand the root causes of Mineral Deficiency.
